Small Actions. Greener Communities. Lasting Change.

We're an army of neighbors — no uniforms, just green sticks — caring for the parks, streets and spaces we share.

Our mission

Collective action, one green stick at a time.

Green Stick Army empowers communities to create a greener, more sustainable future through environmental stewardship, education and hands-on collective action.

The "Army" in our name is about people power: neighbors, families, schools and workplaces showing up together. From cleanups to tree planting, we make sustainability something you can do this weekend.

Our story

How a Green Stick Cleanup works

Four simple steps to a cleaner block

  1. Step 1: Grab a stick

Pick up a signature green-stick grabber, gloves and a bag. We bring the gear.

  2. Step 2: Gather neighbors

Show up with family, friends, coworkers or classmates. Everyone is welcome.

  3. Step 3: Collect responsibly

Clear litter safely and sort recyclables from trash as you go.

  4. Step 4: Celebrate clean spaces

Step back, take in the difference and share the win with your community.
